On the southern terraces there are over three hundred mixed varieties of almond trees. The three main varieties (pictured below) are Llargueta, Mollar and Cormün. Llargueta is a heavy cropping, hard-shelled almond of fine flavour. Mollar is moderate cropping, has a soft shell (which can be broken between your fingers) and is particularly sweet, the ideal nut for eating. Cormün is a very hard-shelled nut with a pronounced flavour and although small, crops heavily. We also grow Ferraduel Dura, Ferragnes and Cormün Fuerte is lesser quantities. Currently all the produce is sold locally.
